Main usage:
These pump systems are most commonly used to convey dry, free flowing, pulverized materials from grinding mills, transfer materials from silo to silo, transfer dust from collectors, and load and unload railcars, ships and barges.
Principle of F-K screw pump
Materials are fed to top of the pump
Disc of the check valve will be opened when material thrust increases valve and then materials will enter the material-gas mixing chamber.
Materials are pushed to the end by screw shaft, forming a material plunger.
Material handling begins.
Materials compacted on the material plunger and the screw shaft seal the carrier gas.
Disc of the check valve willseal mixing chamber feed inlet to prevent wind from returning when materials proceed poorly.
